Dr. Chuck spent four decades watching patients lose their lives to conditions that began in their mouths. Heart attacks, strokes, diabetic crises: the infection was oral, and no one had connected the dots. When he tried to bring dental screening into hospitals, the answer he got back was blunt: "If we can't treat it, we don't want to know about it."


Experiencing firsthand the deadly gap between dentists and physicians, he founded The Dental Medical Convergence to help people connect the dots between their dental health and their medical health.
